My table image is tight IMO and was wondering if I should show a bluff to loosen up the rest of the table?
The following are my session stats for the table in Question:

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 136 hands and saw flop:
- 8 out of 17 times while in big blind (47%)
- 7 out of 16 times while in small blind (43%)
- 17 out of 103 times in other positions (16%)
- a total of 32 out of 136 (23%)
Pots won at showdown - 6 of 7 (85%)
Pots won without showdown - 9

or should I just leave?, I have doubled my buy-in of $15

What limit's are you playing? I assume they're pretty low. IMHO your stats of 6 of 7 won at showdown is too close to the 9 won without showdown. If your stats of pots won without showdown are 2 to 3 times higher than those won at showdown THEN they are truely scared of your play and it may be time to loosen up.

Also what's the max buy-in? What's the tallest stack in comparison to yours? If your way ahead and getting to much respect THEN it's time to mix it up and lose a few, donk a few hands and tighten back up.

I don't like showing and only show once in a while which is rare to friends or opponents who I have respect for and from who I know I have respect.

To spur my opponents I'd rather get caught bluffing or making a donk play chasing an inside straight or backdoor flush.

And we want to "piss them off" because someone is bound to approach tilt and then we get some action when we hit a huge hand. I personally like to show some bluffs or show that I will raise with almost any hand on the button if I feel that:
a) I can outplay my opponent
b) I get a bigger advantage from doing so then mucking my cards once the pot is won

It's important to tighten up and only play premium hands out of position and decent holdings for a few orbits after that because you probably won't be able to buy the pot anymore.

Personally im of the no-show school

Showing of even just one hand is information that your opponents didnt have before you gave them.

If your not getting any callers when you are raising, thats the time to 'maybe' raise the odd rag hand and take the opportunity of stealing some blinds.

But not too often or suspicions will be aroused :)

I never show, but do allow my bluff cards to be bought. Slight difference.

In a min betdown, I will will do it occasionally, partly knowing I will be showing garbage, giving the impression I will play anything, which, I pretty much do these days. But in big pots, I really don't want them knowing I beat them with AA or 92o unless they are willing to pay.

Good post and I tend to never show my hands to decent players because giving them information for free is not something I want (since maybe THEY will start reraising with anything and then my edge is lost). But when facing players who are passive, very, very tight or very, very afraid of comitting anything to the pot, showing will be better in the long run because the size of the pots will get larger and they'll be tempting to play marginal hands while I'll tighten way up.

I know that its not really a good idea to show, but if your not receiving action on a table(cash only) I think your only two options are:
1-show down 1 or 2 bluffs
2-leave the table and go to another cash table.
As I'm typing this I think the latter is the best choice.

I would like to add that I never ever show my hand at any given time during a tourney.

I would show some bluffs for the simple fact that your tbl image is coming across as tight & if you show a bluff here or there, youll get more callers when you do play a good hand & have something big. Having them know that your image is tight most of them dont get into pots w/ you unless they have something big so i would show a few bluffs & get them to call you when you have the nutz.

Is this something that you need to know? I would say yes, after much thought, showing is the wrong way to go, A tight table image may give you less action but it narrow the range that you put others on when someone enters a hand with you, so a tight Image does have a significant advantage.
IMO

If you're not bluffing much and you do take down a big pot with 2 napkins, then I'd show the bluff. Definitely will get more action afterwards and you can continue with your same TAG play but get paid more.

I wouldn't show because make them call it to found out if you have a hand or not.
