well I sometimes do as much as 10 hours a day in 3 hour intervals, and if your gunna leave after an hour, your just holding back varaince and limiting your poker education, not just on 'poker skill' but on the nature of the game and varaince
your basically implying a 'Martin Gale stratergy' in
gambling its well known, your psychologicaly fullfilled 90% of the time taking small wins without going for larger scores, but you will find it demoralising when you loose 3 days work in one session, thus you will never really make enough to cover the days when you loose big. Poker is all about edges and the longterm, if you dont have poker education your edge will be smaller, and longterm you will breakeven/marginal winner or maybe even loose.
if your edge is bigger and you play alot then you see the longterm easier and you will win more, depending on your poker education.
