Defo contributed rake also confirms it isn't proportional to what you put in to the pot.

would attempt to do a system where rakeback is proportional to rake paid as winning players would receive more rakeback (win pots, pay rake). It's in a sites best interest to do the opposite to this.
A poker site having a system where you pay rake equivalent to your contribution to the pot I suspect doesn't exist but would be pretty easy to program in. Really not sure what affect this would have on the games. It would punish postflop nits, which would probably favour whales + good regs and hurt bad regs + mild fish.
