What adjustments do you make for shorthanded mixed limit cash games such as HORSE?

I've heard a few general things. For split pot games, it becomes more profitable and necessary to include more high-only hands and loosen up your low requirements to include non-nut potential low draws. Do you agree?

What about limping vs. raising? Does the tendency for limit games to be more post-flop/post-3rd street oriented mean that you open up your range by limping in more or do you keep pounding the early streets to build the pots (of course then you give your opponents better odds to call later streets)?

What about game specific points? Opening up in Hold'em is different than Omaha-8, than Razz, than Stud, and than Stud-8. Any recommendations for certain games?

Just looking for a little feedback. Granted this isn't something most people here probably play but I figure a couple people at least should have some knowledge about it.

Why would you play mixed cash games online? Unless you are a specialist and only play one of the games to exploit people. It just seems like it would be harder to multitable and harder to get a good edge.

I can see why in live games it would be fun to have a mixed game, but it's just so easy to switch out games online that it's probably better to play a single game unless it's a tournament.

Why? Because it's fun. And it is the complete antithesis of being a specialist. Being a specialist and only playing a certain round of a mixed game will get you a bad reputation, online and off (PS will even ban you from the high limit 8-game tables if you try and specialize, and maybe even the low limits too if you get reported). Of course you can't multi-table as easily and of course it's more difficult, but it's better than droning out playing a dozen or more tables of NLHE (in my opinion, anyway). It's about becoming an overall better poker player.

I can't believe I waited a week and the only response was a discouragement. Nobody has any recommendations on shorthanded limit cash games?

if ur profficient in all games, u have a huge edge because most ppl playing mixed games are weak in most/ majority of the games. very profitable situation.
not harder to multitable at all, u just have to be able to focus and know when the games change

in split games, playing more high only hands is a big mistake and will generally cost u a lot of money because a high hand cant back door a low but a low can back door a high. u want to play hands that have potential both ways
