But thats a bit subjective isnt it.
x player with 90% buy in might be "bad" relative to a good reg. But if hero isnt as good as hero thinks he is then x might be better than hero.
this aimed at me?
anyone with a semi-decent knowledge of cash games wants to sit with 100bb.
fish sit in for less and regs have enough buyins in their bankroll to cover the cost and rebuys/add ons.. so normally with a quick overview of the table anyone with less than 100bb is a fish or a bad reg.
And yes this is speaking fairly broad and subjective.
Just want some opinions.
I buy in regularly for under 100BB online, and certainly hope you feel as though I am a "bad" player.
I do it because of the way it forces bad decisions/folds pre from certain types of opponents I like to 3 bet mercilessly. Basically it helps me deny them odds to flat in a lot of spots....so they end up folding or shoving which makes my decisions a lot easier.
this is pretty funny, for several reasons.I buy in regularly for under 100BB online, and certainly hope you feel as though I am a "bad" player.

if you are not a regular shortstacker, you know you could achieve the same result by 3betting bigger with 100bb, for example? end result is absolutely the same in terms of odds; and then for the times they make the worse decision and shove into your AA, you have just lost value because you did not have the 100bb?
if you are a regular shortstacker, then the above still holds, but that means 2 things to me: 1) you dislike playing poker and prefer coin-flipping instead (even if it is not exactly a symmetrical coin) and 2) you try to make things simpler for yourself by increasing your variance, which means you get more bad beats and worse downswings. if that works for you, all the best. and in either case above, your "hope" would be justified on my part.
In short most will 100% agree playing short stack is loosing value. So short stack players are mainly weaker less knowledgable players then regs with auto rebuy on???
Seems to me when we sit at a table full of short stacks it is full of fish....most of the time..
I'm pretty sure I read an article that showed a significant correlation between stack size and penis size.
