I had about $70 stuck on Pokerstars
(shortly after neteller
withdrew from US) no way to get it out so I decided to just play some Limit so I started at $.50/$1 6max, just enough to cover a couple of buyins. Within 3 days I was sitting on $600 2 days later I was back down to $100. I was mixing it up with $0.50/$1 and $1/$2. I was never following proper bankroll management but I think that even the 300BB rule is probably not enough playing 6 handed limit
You are going to see alot more rivers and you are going to get alot more suck outs... for instance it is common for people to call you with backdoor flush draw, I have no idea why but they do. They'll pick up their flush draw on the turn sometimes then cap it. For instance one hand I had pocket aces and a guy capped it preflop with J6 suited. He capped it on the flop with only a backdoor flushdraw (just one spade) and then the Ace of spades came on the turn so there was some capping again and then his final spade hit the river and there was another cap, I had no reason to suspect his flush. Things like that can get you steaming too.
People will just play and jam the pot hoping to get lucky by the river. They show no skill and rely on luck to win. When you are on the negative side of the swings you can go broke pretty quick. But make nice profits just as fast when you're on the positive side.
Sorry no advice from me just sharing my frustrations
