Been trying to play more lately, and I've noticed an interesting trend. On the sites that I play (Carbon and BCP), I'm seeing more action at full ring tables than 6max. Unless it's peak hours, the 6max tables on both sites are usually jammed with regs, but full ring tables seem to always have a few weak players.

Graphs below show my results at 4NL full ring (top) and 4NL 6max (bottom).

I've been wondering if a shift would happen, since the vast majority of the poker world preaches 6max. Anyone who's been interested in really improving his/her game has been coached to master 6max, which would inevitably push the better players to those tables.

Anyone else seeing a shift, or am I still just an an awful 6maxer? I'm good with the 2nd conclusion too haha

The reason why there is more action at FR tables at the micros is mostly because of the people doing the rake chase and bonus whoring. The rewards are better for FR overall on most websites.

You don't have enough hands (not even close) to determine if you're a winner at either level. 6 max will also always have more variance. Play a couple hundred thousand hands at each game and see where you end up. :p
