With massive implieds vs an EP fish limper, I do think I can play 9To profitably OTB. But I would say that I fold 9To 90% of the time, 3-bet 5% of the time (vs bad LAGS or fit/fold type players), and call 5% of the time.
I do agree that the 3bet-call pre is kind of meh, but was persuaded to call by a possible squeeze with a weak hand from the SB, plus a fish in the pot and I have position on them both.
Just to be clear, if the fish had open raised I would have folded.
And by disciplined I see what you mean, but I was actually mostly referring to postflop vs these zoom-nits. Preflop I am opening up my range significantly vs a lot of zoom players, 95% of the time with a raise - this was an exception.
Would love to hear comments on postflop play, fwiw I think I played it perfectly and can still not even begin to understand how he can call my turn AI.
