Just started using Poker Tracker to analyze my game a bit more accurately....playing low limit say up to 5/10, roughly wherebouts would you expect your figures to be for WTSD(% went to showdown after seeing flop) and W$SD(% won at showdown. Over time where do you think these figures should be to indicate i'm not folding to many winners yet still being strong at SD? i asked this at bet-the-pot.com's forum and a few people said their figures were around 30-40% for WTSD% and around 55% winning@ showdown....saying that if my winning % @ SD was around 70% i'm probably folding to many winning hands.....Opinions.......this is low limit(up to 5/10) too!

Sounds about right.

My WTSD% is 32%, my W$SD% is 55%, give or take a few tenths of a %. Mind you, I suck at poker.

Not sure if I'd agree with that. If you had a high W$SD%, I would think that it meant you had a good read on what hands would hold up against your opponents.

If you look for other explanations, you couldn't say that a low WTSD% meant you fold too much because you might be getting a lot of other players to fold before SD. You'd have to check your win rate & more to see if you are folding "winning hands". I too just started using it, but I have over 8100 old & current histories to look at. I'll have to play with it a while to find out just how to combine the data and make certain conclusions. (FP might know this one better.)

BTW, my WTSD% is 33 & my W$SD% is 53 and I play .50/1, 1/2, & 2/4 limits mostly.

I checked my stats and I'm around 19% for WTSD% and 54% W$SD%. Does this mean I don't call down enough raises or that I fold winning hands too often? Also, isn't a higher W$SD% like 70% much better, I mean if mine was 100% I'm pretty sure I'd be winning more money.

I still think you need more data with which to combine. BIGJ, your WTSD% seems low, but that might mean you got everyone to fold a lot before SD (overbetting to scare away hands in NLHE might produce this). You'd have to combine this with your Flops Seen %, Pre-Flop Raise %, Win Rate, etc. to really come to a conclusion. So far to me, playing around with this data seems to be a science.

Ya, you may be right. I'm at about 7000 hands so not the biggest pop. to analyse. I tend to be very tight in ring games, around 14% VP$P stat so when I do raise people give me respect (excpet the fish, LOL)
