Hello. Today i have a reflection. I have seen a lot of cases of two or more player with the same stats but with very different winnings, in some cases one of they winning 5bb/100 and the other BE or loosing .

First of all, the stats don´t say how we are playing. Two player can have for example a turn cbet of 50% but one of them bets the worst hands he can have without evaluating correctly the board and the other bets correctly.

And the another reason is the variance. But i think that if we have enough hands this should not affect.

I don´t know if can have other reasons to explain this. In my case i have some trouble with my play in 3bet pots. I hear tips and comments.

Pdt. My english is not very good, excuse me.

Variance pays a big part in poker, and although the same stats one of the players may be running better or just picking the spots correctly. If your having trouble get a copy of "Crushing The Micros" by BlackRain

3BET situations are technically not that hard..
Just check his stats and his playstyle, and see how you stack up against the middle to top range of your villian.
If you are unsure its best to just fold PF instead of calling it down and fold to a Cbet on the flop.
