I assume it's the same thing as Zoom poker in Stars. I've started playing it and much prefer the format as a beginning player. You can always have a couple of cash game tables and a Zoom/Rush poker table.

I think rush poker is dangerous for a small bankroll because when looking for a hand to play you spend a lot of blinds

Hi man !

First of all I do not play at FTP, but if that RUSH POKER is similar to ZOOM POKER ON PS then I guess it is not the greatest idea of how t build up the BankRoll.

I would more likely recommend the SnGs or freerolls or normal low limits Cash games to RUSH POKER.

And if you have already tried it and you went broke... I think you should really reconsider the other poker options that might be more profitable for you ...

In my opinion (not saying it is the correct one ) ...building BankRoll is long way and should be done with minimizing the risk or going broke and playing only limits you can afford and mostly the games that are making you money not loosing !

So good Luck @TAbles !

Rush generally plays worse than Zoom; more bad players.

But either is not good for beginners, imo. So many traits of the bad players are not obvious when you keep changing tables, and the bad players are where you will make most of your money, so trying to build a bankroll there will be more difficult than regular cash tables.

Does the player bluff constantly? Do they overvalue top pair/weak kicker? Does a min bet on the flop mean they're trying to get you to raise/keep going, or is it a test and they will bet larger as it goes? Are they calling down with an underpair, or slow rolling a set?

Those are the kinds of things you can see at a regular table that you can't see at Rush/Zoom/Fast Forward. Even with a HUD, you have to guess much more than you would at a regular table, so I don't recommend it for beginners.

I like playing Zone Poker on Bovada but it is hard in that every hand feels like playing total unknowns. I cant tell who I am playing hands with ever. I end up playing very tight and only open strong hands in less I am on the button.

Yes, in Zoom poker your reads wont do much, but the amount of fish there is just so big and as long as you play tight aggressive poker you will come out on top. Of course I'm talking about 2NL here and I expect it to be a lot tougher in higher stakes, but solid poker is what it all takes in micro zoom. Most fish wait for good hands and marry to them. What I mean is raising 2/3BB pre and then stacking-off the flop with their overpairs. Always a good pay-day when holding a set.

I don't see a huge difference between multi-tabling cash games and zoom poker in general though. In both you'll be looking for good hands and spots to win pots and unless you're some super human who can play six tables at once and observe his opponents in every one of them.
