Got quite a few hands with this guy, id never do this against weak players or someone I didnt have many hands with. He knows im loose but I rarely shove like this without the nuts so figured I could get him to fold, he's not the type to call off lightly.
Just sick that he has top two here, when I have a 9 blocker. No way he's calling with 1 pair or even weaker 2 pairs, confident that he wouldn't especially considering our stack sizes. I put him on a weak ace, possibly AT or AJ. Would expect at least 3x pre with AK and AQ, ive seen him 2.5x BTN now and again though. Bet sizing doesnt make sense for a busted flush, still possible and still something I can beat, and I can fold out suited aces here.
Im aware it can look like im fishing for a heart flush, but like i said, his bet sizing on the flop and turn make no sense for me to chase. I usually raise on FD too. A shove seemed to be able to fold out so many hands though. I know im not representing anything obvious, but the amount that the shove is, surely he's not calling off that with anything less than top two? 45 got there and I can easily have a set with just calling the 2x pre.
Feel free to give your thoughts, call me an idiot etc , just wanted to share a different type of hand to the usual. I dont regret this play at all. Ill take these beats over suckouts anyday.
