Hi all.

I don`t play ring games or use any kind of software other than excel spreadsheets.

What does this mean...

Villain is 36/18/1.3 over 22 hands

Just out of interest really :)

36/18/1.3 are tracking stats of a villain.

36 is the VPIP (voluntary put $ in pot %) - usually indicates how tight or loose a player is.

18 is the PFR (pre flop raise %)

1.3 is the AF (total aggression factor or the if you like the number of times a person bets + raises/the number of times he calls)

36/18/1.3 are tracking stats of a villain.

36 is the VPIP (voluntary put $ in pot %) - usually indicates how tight or loose a player is. 36 + 36% of time has paid to see a flop?

18 is the PFR (pre flop raise %) 18% of time raises pre flop - get that

1.3 is the AF (total aggression factor or the if you like the number of times a person bets + raises/the number of times he calls) so what does 1.3 relate to? 1.3 what?

Thanks. But I have put in red some other points :)

36% is the % a person voluntarily put money into a pot, be it a raise, bet or call, but not including the blinds.

1.3 indicates a player calls too much imo. Usually an AF of 2+ is deemed aggressive. 1.3 indicates that a player usually calls most of the time, AF = (Bets+raises)/calls

Generally the sample size you have is waaaaaaaay to small to make a decent read on the guy/gal but a loose look at the stats say that...

Villian has seen a flop with 36% of the hands he/she has been dealt, this shows that he/she is loose and you really should be sitting back waiting for your big hands to get paid off by this person.

They have raised preflop 18% of the time, generally this is only lower on a person with the above stat ( >20-30% VPIP ) because they are flat calling pre flop raises making them smell even fishier.

1.3 Agression shows that this guy/gal is quite aggressive for the amount of pots he/she is in, so in other words alot of bluffing, chasing, bottom/middle pair Raising/Flat Calling and generally bleeding chips all over the table.

From the very small sample size my opinion is just to sit back flat call with your monsters and watch him choke himself/herself on chasing and bluffs, you'll also want to try and isolate this player, maybe even note them if you get more hands on them and they continue in the same vein as the opening sample.

Very, Very, Very, Very small sample size though, just reminding :).
