Hey Cash Game Players!
I'm a new-ish online NLHE player (about a year). A good amount of what I've learned so far about poker concepts for cash games has come from Micro Grinder Poker School's Youtube page and website. The guy who runs it is named Alton Hardin I believe, and he has a few books he's published as well. What I've learned from him seems to pretty much line up with a lot of what I've found on other places, as far as like general poker terms, hud stats information, and overall that you want to take a tight aggressive strategy most of the time playing poker. However his Youtube channel, where I've learned most of this information, is pretty unpopular. He only have like 5k subs and each of his videos gets a few hundred views, some of them 1 or 2k. That leads me to question the quality of his content and makes me wary of buying a his books and maybe some of his online content.
So has anyone heard of Micro Grinder Poker School before? Does anyone know if Alton Hardin's books are good? Is his content particularly bad at all? Is any of it worth the money? Is the strategy that he teaches not good/optimal? Any help and suggestions would be great.
