I was wondering about a play weather in cash or tournament where in select situations it may be viable to artificially increase your equity in the hand allowing you to call with worse pot odds.
I mean say you hold a straight draw that's well disguised and you're getting bet into by the villian where there is also a flush draw on board, lets say because of specific reads you feel that its highly unlikely that villain has a flush draw himself and that if the flush came in you would be able to make an easy bluff and get a lot of credibility because you played the hand as you would a flush draw. would it be plausible to consider not only your straight cards as out but also consider the suited cards as outs as well, this would allow you to make looser calls and if you were to hit your straight you would probably be able to win a big pot.
What are peoples thoughts on this general idea, playing a hand as you would a draw so that you can make a bluff when the draw comes in.
