Pineapple and variants
How does it differ from regular NO limit texas hold'em? I am curious about it. Just need a qucik synopsis on the basic gameplay. Sounds like a fun game to play.
Believe this was answered earlier in the thread but here goes:
It's dealt like regular PL HEM, but you get THREE hole cards instead of two.
In "regular" Pineapple, you have to discard one of the hole cards following the pre-flop round of betting and then "regular" play commences.
In Crazy Pineapple, the discard comes AFTER the flop.
Crazy Pineapple H/L8, the pot can end up in a Hi/Lo split.

And, although UBNet did used to offer it, they no longer do so. Can't speak to any non-US friendly sites. Used to run into it in Montana poker rooms, when the "button" got to call dealer's choice. Haven't played there for years, so don't know if that is still the practice.
