What books do you guys recommend for specifically ring game play?
I know there are a lot of posts on books and such but I'm looking for ring game related ones only. Thanks.

I've read the theory of poker, phil gordons books and dan harringtons books. Also seen final table poker and a couple other good vids. Played mainly at the $100 tables but having to build my BR up again and currently at the $25 tables. I need to mainly work on postflop play not preflop. Only lookin for NLHE related material at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've glanced at this before but never really given it much consideration. I'm reading it right now though and it seems like exactly the type of book I'm looking for. (Just downloaded the E-book)

From my library thread:
No Limit (and Pot Limit Holdem)
Mastering No-Limit Hold’em by Russell Fox and Scott Harker
Killer Poker No Limit by John Vorhaus
In the Money by Antonio Esfandiari
Shuffle Up and Deal by Mike Sexton
Pot Limit and No Limit Poker by Reuben and Ciaffone
Little Green Book by Phil Gordon
Little Blue Book by Phil Gordon
Championship No-Limit and Pot Limit Hold’em by T.J. Cloutier and Tom McEvoy

Of course, a lot of books from the math/theory, general reference, comprehensive guides, and specialty sections will also be applicable.

Hint: "Limit" in a title usually refers to structure, not to stakes (unless, obviously, it says something like 'low limit NO limit').

I've found: No limit hold em: Theory and Practise by Sklansky and Miller useful for ring games.

Go to barnes and noble and just read the summary of all the poker books. It seems like a stupid thing to do but thats what I did and I found some great poker books and blackjack books.

Good luck at your tables

Harrington has got a couple of cash game books (Harrington on Cash Games) coming out soon (they were due out on March 7th but appear to have been delayed - in the UK anyway).

you can find them on Amazon. No doubt they will be worth a read.

Ed Miller (w/Sklansky and Malmuth) also has a good one, Small Stakes Hold'em: Winning Big With Expert Play.

Miller also has column in CardPlayer that's very good.

Professional No-Limit Hold 'em: Volume I by Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, and Ed Miller

Does anyone use those strategies successfully? I've skimmed/read through this book at Borders and while the beginning seems on the mark it seems like the strategies for manipulating pot sizes are flawed. While stack size to bet size does certainly make a difference in how much advantage you get from your hands the strategies as presented seem to run completely against information hiding principles which are going to be more useful, at least against skilled opponents I would think. I haven't actually tried these strategies, but they just seem wrong to me. Is there a mistake in my perception, or is this accurate?
