I'm aware of Blackrain's but am wondering if there are others possibly worth reading that were published no more than 2-3 years ago.

Verneer (Cardrunners Instructor) just came out with a new book called "Building a bankroll"

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/33/books-publications/building-bankroll-full-ring-edition-1163640/

I am not that familiar with who he is at the tables or his videos. But I know from speaking to him that he comes off as a very intelligent guy who knows what he is talking about. He is also quite well known and respected on poker forums.

I have an advance copy of his book and have been meaning to read it and put up a review for some time. I have only read the first couple chapters but was very impressed with the layout of the book and the content thus far. So while I haven't "read it" yet it is probably a book that I would recommend just based off of the author's reputation alone.

Verneer is awesome, but wouldn't this person be better off joining cardrunners and watching Verneer's vids then reading this book? If you join Cardrunners, verneer will actually help you. Plus, he has a ton of vids since he has been on there for awhile. the mt. micro series is good. im sure his book is awesome too, i just prefer videos i suppose.

reeding is harrd. so is righting.
