RAZZ experience

ok so i just started today looking at different varients of poker, and i came across RAZZ

it was great very first hand i picked up 6 7 8 9 10 J and guy kept reraising me, i thought "what an idiot he can see i have the straight and theres no way he has a higher straight" by the end i lost and was fuming that i didnt understand why i lost, then i started looking for where it said HI or LO, could i find it, nope, so i google RAZZ to find out lows win

it only took about 15 mins of studying to figure out the basic concepts and then i was having a chat with the gf as i was playing, or should i say watching them play whilst i folded and i was calling there plays making reads like theres no tomorrow

thats when it hit me :s this game is so easy

BUT here comes the key question
is RAZZ really that easy or is it because the fish at the tables really dont understand what they are doing?
for instance i had a guy call me down whilst he had a K and a K and a Jack in view
i figured that was wierd because no matter what cards i couldnt see i could physically see that the Jack was his lowest high card inc in the 5 lows
and when you check my hand the ones in view not a single card was over 8
in fact i had A 2 3 4 5

how often do you find these kind of players at the razz table? cus i gotta admit, i am liking the concepts of razz a lot more then i like the concepts of Holdem xD

Razz is not easy. I do not know what stakes you where playing for but at a certain level everyone knows at they are doing.

Tips for razz:
Keep track of the cards. It is not luck that a worse starting hand beats your ace 2 3. Knowing what cards are live and which ones are dead turn some good looking hands into losers and some trash hands into favorites.

looks to me as an easy game, I won a littlle bit (really a little bit I say) then played again and lost.
The game looks easy and because of that it may be run dependent when playing at an acceptable level
