it seems to be a leak, so I want to work on it.

spots/boards to do this in?

except for the obvious ones with massive draws/2P+ etc..

(this is mostly against regs)

hands with backdoor draws are nice. Say we have JThh on 9h6c2d we can probably expect to see a c-bet and raise that since when we get called we can barrel a ton of cards (since we have loads of cards where we pick of decent equity) and we have a decent amount of FE as well.

Perhaps post some examples of spots you've done it that you're not sure about?

will do.. most of my spots are live atm and i'm procrastinating playing online for some weird reason :/

after my next session (prob tomorrow) I'll post some spots in here if thats cool..

only one post and 100 reads though? figured there'd be more replies.. maybe it's a stupid thread.

Tons of spots can be good, i hate check raising or raising cbets with pocket pairs though for the most part, you can just do it with so many other hands that have equity, backdoors etc, but still wouldn't be terrible if a guy folds all the time to raises.

Even boards like K95 where there arent many draws can be fine to raise when they have wide ranges like btn-blind spots because combination wise a wide range misses Kxx flops a lot and even though we rep nothing cause theres no draws and sets are hard to make etc, against a lot of guys it will just get plenty of folds to make it worth doing.

Low flops can also be cool to raise as a lot of the time if the guy does get stubborn and call with his top pair he will not be able to continue on zillions of turn cards etc.

Post some hands though

depends on the reg, a good stat to use for how often they fold/how much they are playing back at you/ones you can attack is WWSF

Also you've often got to be prepared to fire the turn too, as many regs will call one to see what happens on the turn with their medium strength hands.

You should choose your targets carefully, but when you find a decent spot, don't puss out!
