What are the normal Hand ranges when deciding to protect blinds? What betting range do you not protect you blinds?
This question may be somewhat vague, but I don't know what else you need to know.

- Is it a ring game (then limits, FR or SH ?, Limit or NL,effective stacks)
- MTT/Sit and Go (then limits, blind sizes, effective stacks)
- Where did the raise come from, UTG or the SB into your BB.

Things like this would help.

I pretty much play like the blinds are already in the pot and not mine any more. Being out of position counteracts the lower bet amount. Therefore, if I have a hand with which, sitting in mid-position I would call an early raise, then I will do the same in the big blind.

Ok. Take advice or leave it, just trying to help out. With blinds no matter ring game or tourney, I think they are overated. The only time I try to protect my blinds is late in a tourney when the blinds are huge, Other than that I would say play the cards, and play the people. If someone raised your blind that is a really tite player, and you have like a suited connector looking at you, simply call because you know if that flop don't look like them, it looks like you. A big chance to take of course, but you gotta do that sometimes. Good thread by the way. Probly a lotta responce from this one. Have fun at the tables =) jeremy aka "The BigStackJack"
