Was playing in a $5 buy-in at Poker.com with 175 entrants overall i finished 14th but i think i could have played a little better. First wasent getting much in playable cards and 2nd i found the bluffer at the table need less to say he busted out before i did. I was getting ok cards but out of position. One example blinds were 150/300 at a full table i have about 850 in chips and 8 limp and 1 raises was 150 to call i get pocket 7's and since it was the only live had i had got all night i went all-in ( mind you its not the best choice but had to make a move) flop came 7,3,2 and flopped a set and ended up doubling up. Any advice on playing preminum drawing and suited connectors pre-flop?

When you have the chips, raise the mininum ( in no limit ) from middle and late position with suited connectors and maybe gappers , :7d4::8d4: :3s4::4s4:, :qc4: :9c4: , these are the kind of hands that can flop big, but you need to min raise to try and take control of the pot, and usually do this when you have 80 to 100 big blinds. In case you dont , try to limp in pots from late position, good hands for this are K♠Q♠ , Axs , i hope this helps, if you need some clearing up just let me know

Suited connectors work best when in position and can see what others are doing first. You can call a raise when you know the pot odds are right. If you limp in early position, the odds of you get raised out of the pot is greater.

I find that with suited connectors you should try to get in fairly cheap (in no limit) from the middle to late positions(2 to 2.5 times the bb). In early position I try to only play the premium hands because of my position. On the flop the play is fairly mechanical. If you miss then get ready to let go of the hand. If you hit a draw then you must consider the style of play your opponent plays and if you took control of the betting pre-flop. During the hand you should only chase if you think youre ahead or if it is cheap enough chase. If you hit your hand then you try for as much value as possible.

Well if you've only got 850 chips and blinds are 150/300, then all in is your only move. There aren't any "drawing hands" at that stage - once you call you're pot committed.
