I keep hearing being a good post-flop player is where all the winnings come. Can you please help me understand what is a good post-flop play. Here is what I have gathered so far from my readings
Post-Flop Play:
- If you hit a high pair with good kicker or overpair or two pair or set, then bet pot; If there is a drawing hand then even bet two pots
- Medium pair or less, then check-fold
- Don't call high turn and river bets with a single pair unless the other person bluffs frequently
- If you have a flush draw plus an overpair or str8 draws then semi-bluff by betting half pot
- If nobody bets the pot by turn, then bluff small percentage of pot occasionally
- Be cautious with a pair on board or a four card of same suit or a four card str8 on board
Please feel free or correct and add your wisdom on post-flop play.
