pokerstars has the monthly VIP-levels Platinum, Gold and Silver and you get fpp´s instead money for your play - anyone knows how much rackeback this is ? :D
(fpp=frequent player point)

i may be misunderstanding the question here, but the amount of rakeback you get would be dependent on how you spend them.

from memory;
bronzestar gets you 5FPPs per VPP,
silver gets you 7.5FPPs per VPP,
gold gets you 10FPPs per VPP,
platinum gets you 15FPPs per VPP.

the only constant way you could really determine how much theyre worth would be by the amount of cash you can trade them for in the VIP store.
ie, 1000FPPs gets you a $10 reward, so they would appear to be worth 1c each. however they are worth more when you "bulk buy", ie 40,000FPPs gets you $600, which would make them worth $0.015 ea.

however i wouldnt recomment spending them like this. for example, say you get 1000FPPs. you could trade this for a $10 reward, or you could play 235FPP sunday storm hyper turbo satellites in which 2/6 players get t$11.
playing these instead would give you 4 entrys, and youd only need to place in ONE of them to get MORE than you would from the alternative option- lets be honest, long term youre going to win a lot more than 1/4.

in theory, if 1/3 of the field gets the ticket, the youll be getting a ticket 1/3 of the time if you all opponents are of equal skill level. this would mean youre getting roughly $11 per 705FPP, meaning your FPPs are now worth $0.0156.

moral of the story, learn how to play hypers if you dont already know how (and im sure you do) and spend your fpps like this instead :)

I only get 3.5 FPPs/VPP and I'm SN, so I think your memory's out a little here. Apart from that, what jchoop said.

As for how much you get back, depending on which method you choose, you simply work out how much rake you've paid (I get 6 VPPs/€1 rake paid) and how much you've got back the way jchoop describes. Work that out as a % and you've done it. It won't be the same number for everyone.

Lol you are little out. It is 5 VPP for 1$ rake.
Bronze 1FPP for 1VPP.
Gold 2 FPP for 1 VPP
Platinum 2.5 FPP for 1 VPP.
Supernova 3.5 FPP for 1 VPP
Supernova Elite 5 FPP for 1 VPP

I think the cash rewards are as good as RB.

Hey, see graphs!

These graphs are a little misleading. They assume you are spending your points on supernova bonuses or tournament entries and that you started the month at that vip level. Pokerstars gives a more honest account of the potential rake back than the affiliate site that created these graphs.

http://www.pokerstars.co.uk/vip/

For instance if you started out your first month at stars as bronzestar and converted your fpps to cash using bronzestar bonuses you will only be getting 5-6% rakeback as opposed to 18%.

Long story short if you do not wish to play tournaments (having to commit time to earn your rake back and go out your comfort zone as a cash player) and will not make supernova at any point in the near future the rake back value you receive will be far less than what affiliates will tell you.
