Well I've played mainly on my pc... Using Pt

Lately I've been digging in on my mobile, when my wifes asleep i'll sneek on but I cannot seem to win on the mobile!

But without PT i'm going in blind and that's probably half the battle lost, And I never seem to hit my cards with my mobile game haha.. Unpredictable fish without stats is a great way for a downswing I tell you.

Anyways the only reason i'll be using my phone for poker is those under 2 dollar touneys and time limit tourneys which seem quite ez to get in the money

My main aim is to climb up in the cash games... Which i'm winning live but not online but it's only a matter of time.. I've cut down atm to just 1 table to really study my game while I play and see what I've done wrong... noticed ive been losing a bit with QQ KK AA with really wet flops. Unless they fold to my c-bet

Ive been playing on my mobile for over a year, small screens like the old iPhones are no good tbh,

But I play on my ipad now and on the site i play, switchpoker.com you can have 4 table on one screen and it works fine. its not too small.

anything over 4inch screen is more than enough for a 1 table view.

GEt an Android tablet cheap or a decent sized phone screen and its actually quite nice to ply. Play when youre on the bus going to work or watching TV, much more comfortable than sitting with a laptop.

I have a code for some free cash if you want.
FREEFIVER, use that and it will get you a free bonus.

thanks I guess that's for switchpoker? ... well when I played on my phone I've played with pokerstars 4 tables and I had a go on 888

but I just seem to rarely get any form of cards... Perhaps i just don't play a long enough time on my phone to go through the swings.

yes, code is for switchpoker.com. I tried stars but didnt like it much, Im not really a fan of stars.
Ive played mobile poker for a year on and off and I find the swings the same as when I was playing pc sites. I assume its the same dealing software.
sessions tend to be shorter on mobile tho, I do hit and run because ill play when I have nothing better to do, like in line at a shop etc ;-)
I was in the cinema the other day and did a 20 hand session during the ads.
They work on Android and apple, apple is no download and you use a browser, android App is pretty good, I use it on my note 2.
Its a little slow paced compared to pc playing but with 4+ tables going its quick enough.

Only ever played 2nl on my ipad.
I'm pretty much HUD-dependent for anything higher i think.
Have made a cool 10 BIs though playing for about 5 hours on 4 tables FR.

Either I ran into lots of fish or having my HUD turned off for 2nl would actually be better.

your wife is way more important then sneaking away to play poker on your phone if she doesnt want you playing it either change her mind on it, limit your play to make her happy, or just don't ever do that

knew a guy pretty well ( as well as you can on poker forums without meeting) that lost his wife to poker he was mass tabling low stakes limit cash games for supernova on stars he nearly lost his 2 kids and his wife left him bc it was all he did

dont get into that situation as long as you have income from else where it is just not worth it

not to enable you too much but use go to my pc or teamviewer on a tablet if you must but serious be careful

Thanks for your comment. I've read into it and yes a lot of people do fall into a trap. I've always from an early age been into gaming played more than the average person. But now I've been putting that time into poker even though as you do get older you don't play as many games. But all my spare time goes to poker now and I don't know any different and i'm at no risk to get any worse or better unless I choose to.

I have also the worst competitive streak you can think of. I'll do anything and everything to win and I can't stand to lose at all. If I do lose I come back stronger and better from it.

One rule which is awesome. I never play when the wife is at home and the kids. I always make sure I have 100% focus and no stress around the house.

So when I don't have the optimal chance of winning, i'm spending the time with the family. I will be lucky to play an hour a day after work now since I realised my concentration is much shorter after a busy day. Depending how I feel is how much I play and it's really becoming a strength of mine.

Havn't played mobile poker for a while now, not due to sneeking about but when i'm in bed and the wifes asleep i'm normally too tired and i'll do costly mistakes. And i'll also warn the wife that i'll be up for hours playing poker earlier that day because playing with a guilty conscious also puts my game off.

Anyways thanks for all your comments guys :)

playing cash isn't risky if you play within your limits. I see a lot of people playing tournaments going for that 1 big win, which I do think is just pure lazy and they'll end up losing it over time anyways.

I'd rather play cash, learn to play well and use the bonus money to play tourneys and try and win big... If I do win big I know I can play cash and chances are i'll win from both rather than just one big win and lose it overtime.

Playing HUDless is very challenging. I would suggest you play at least a quarter of your usual stakes is playing mobile. Also multitabling is really hard.

Im not keen on playing on the phone table selection is different and it just seems wierd.

also I find myself playing at work and it distracts me I find myself thinking about poker and eager to carry on or frustrated having to stop after a bad hand or an idiot making a really frustrating play.

its a no win situation.

its cool when playing in a tournament though live. add an extra table to play - on your phone while in tournament

IMO, playing on mobile/tablet is better. You can play wherever you want. At the kitchen, in bad, in the toilet :D
Playing on PC requires you to stay on one place and if you have to go somewhere you need to sit out.

Sometimes, by some weird shot of luck, I get deep in a tournament and it's time for a outing the house which apparently I am not given the choice not to go (i admit, I'm already 27, but you REALLY don't know my Ma). The PS ipad app can be a life saver. Sure no HUD, but with tourney deep usually being one table and only having to pay attention to 5 players, it's not that hard ;)

Though admittedly, i very seldom tourney these days, maybe the odd MicroMillions tourney.

Btw, I'm participating in the current edition's Main Event. See ya all there :D

No destractions... People like here in the past do the same thing at the table they underestimate me... I know a lot of tells and I have a decent memory with hands and use that to my advantage.

I'll remember someone being in too many hands, someone bluffing... Remembering someone getting awfully chatty during the hand who was previously quiet *usually strong hand* ...

I have a lot of patience as well.... Also last of all I can sit down 6 months later and remember who've I played against and remember how they played. I also pick up on how ppl have played with their chips and noticed a difference in their playing with them.

Live and breathe poker which annoys everyone and know how to play my hands better than the field at the casino which isn't very hard unless I go through the week and hit some good casino regs then it's hair pulling

It really doesn't look good playing poker on your app in the car with family or walking around the shops... One of our friends at work won some decent money while walking around the supermarket. He started the tournament at home and went 4 different places before cashing but I guess it's rather bad the stress levels would just be more intense. I guess if you can be calm playing like that then that's a real strength.
