Poker games for beginners

Is there any online platform, where newbie can learn and play free poker games?

It question have a lot of people who don't know much about this game.

On most sites you can play free poker with play chips (if that's what you mean?). Stars is a good option.

Almost every site has play money tables, but beware you wont learn much in there besides the basics.

They have a "new to the game" catagory of play which allows only players who have played under a certain amount of hands at that varient on the site to play those tables, will be full of fish for the most part. They also have freerolls for this new to the game catagory where you can play against the same field with a shot at free monies.

As well they have a round1, round2 type of freeroll where you get tickets to round2 from round1 and round2 runs on saturdays and sundays which cator mainly to the new to the game with awarding tickets for various tournament buyins (0.55 up to 26$) as well one which awards ring game tickets for new to the game cash tables.

If you just want to play for fun, learn how to play the game with SnG's and Cash games I would suggest pureplay.com. It makes you play with some purpose because you can win poker points and even some money without paying anything.

if u'r new to poker u should play freerolls. if u want to learn more about tactics and staff i recomend reading book... dan harrington and doyle brunson wrote pretty good books... u can learn a lot from them about everything u need to play poker

I'm new player and I'm playing freerolls at pokerstars. You can practice your skill and make a few dollars or more if you're playing well.

I gotta say though, Pokerstars has the worst Freerolls out there. Unless you're making it to the final table you'll rarely win a dollar or more from a freeroll there.
