As a poker player, I'm very much interested in this theoretical concept that I have thought of and studied. You ever notice that one hand you dump 5-7 offsuit or whatever and the flop comes random 2 clubs the board pairs and the river flushes in clubs meaning it was flush dominant in clubs with a pair like 10-5-2-k-10 Next hand your dealt ak clubs you raise it up get some action and the variability comes in the board is 5-6-9 two diamonds runs out to 5-6-9-q-6 three diamonds yet again a board that flushes in the near opposite of what previously occurred and yet again paired up. This does occur if you saw the previous hand go runner runner spades and the next hand in position you get 9-10 spades you should dump it,sure you could flop a boat or 2 pair but the spaded won't comes twice very often.

The deck has no memory. The current board run-out is 100% independent and unaffected by the previous hands.

If you are interested in knowing how holding two spades impacts the amount of flushes possible, we can do the math. It's not really important, for hold'em, because you still want to the right play suited hands.

In Omaha, it plays a role. If you hold 3-4 or four of a suit, you not only are less likely to hit your flush, but there it becomes more likely that there will be a different flush on the board. That's not really an issue with hold'em.
