Hi I'm quite clueless as to whether my conclusions are right or not since I just started playing fairly recently. Hope someone can correct me if im wrong on this.
i played longhand 9 players table, late position(2 seats before button)
my hand: As 9c
[preflop]
sb
bb
p1 calls
nuts raises 5x bb
me calls
button calls
sb,bb folds
p1 calls
flop: 8h 10d 7s
[flop]
nuts raises 10x bb (at this point in time pot: 0.63, 0.20 to call)
ended w me, button and p1 folding.
So what i wanted to ask is assuming that my tell on nuts player is tt hes a TAG, should i have played on past the flop since i prolly put him b/w a range of premium hands (ie. high suited paints or high pockets, etc) so i couldve pulled a straight draw against him.
of course im thinking i should be aware tt my ace may be pretty useless if he had like AK/AQ (be it suited or offsuit) so i was really still quite clueless and i must say im pretty bothered by this play heh..
any pointers on this would be most welcomed!
