The old AF vs AFq...I never switched....But i think i will......
Some say, AF and Agg Freq are more useful in tandem then either one is alone.
Both stats measure aggressiveness post-flop, but they both don't measure the same thing..
AF = ( Total Times Bet + Total Times Raised ) / (Total Times Called )
AFq = ( Total Times Bet + Total Times Raised ) / (Total Times Bet + Total Times Raised + Total Called + Total Times Folded ) * 100
NOTE: the *100 at end makes it a percentage....
In summary:
A player with high AF + high AFq is aggressive
A player with a high AF + low AFq is playing 'bet or fold'.
A player with a very low AF + low AFq is a calling station.
A player with a low AF + low AFq is a passive nit.
Im gonna use both to get the better picture.....POST FLOP STREETS I have been using FAF/TAF/RAF.....but maybe ill switch over to frequency...... If i had to choose.........
As far as other stats, I been thinking about possibly using Fold%.....
In PLO8(BB game), it seems players like to see flop and decide there if they will see the river, or, some players will call the flop bet, but will fold the Turn if they don't hit the draw when faced with a Big Bet....Others will go to the river.....I think this stat may be useful when deciding to Jam the pot with 1 pair and a read....on someone with a high fold % on the turn..
This also would mean the stat WTSD would be low for this player....
Also thinking about W$SD........ this
tells you if the person is working 1 way pots and getting scooped.
Any Thoughts....?
