Your playing and you flop a str8, you 4 bet it to only be reraised and called by a player, would it be a good idea to shove your last chips in???

Your on a draw for a full house should you go for it or fold it, lets say theres a str8 draw on the board??

I'm asking, coz i seem to get stuck in the odd spot.

I'm still pretty new at this, but I think I can steer you in the right direction.

When you have a made hand in PLO it helps to have draws to better hands also.

Be VERY careful of low sets or trips, these can be costly. And depending on opponents any set may be best played as a draw, since straights and flushes are so common.

With a straight on the flop if you don't also have a draw to a better hand, don't bloat the pot until the turn if the board doesn't pair or flush then bet big. If it does keep the pot small.

Look at your starting hands, maybe you should play more premium hands that have tendencies for redraws, like double suited or wrap hands. In Omaha you are dealt 4 cards if one is an brick card (Kh Qs 9h 2c) the 2c is a brick, but if it is a 2s it makes you double suited and the hand is more playable. Or if its a Jx then you have a playable one gap wrap.

Hope my ramblings give you something to think about.

Half pot bet on the flop call a push. Push the turn on a non pairing card.

That's my typical play here.

This also depends on stack size and opponent.

Pot size bet is always my best advice if you have a made str rainbow board. In fact if you have a hand worth betting in PLO it is always best to bet pot (or at the very least always bet the same amount as to never give too much info. This goes for all poker.

There is no flush draw in your hand example so no fear of that. In your first post you said you were on a FH redraw but in your hand example (JQK2 board T98 rainbow) you don't have that. For the hand you have pushing a pot size bet is correct. You have the best of it. I can't see any cards that hurt your hand on the turn except of course unless the board pairs. Then it's anyone's guess in PLO. Runner runner suits could also affect you but that can be said in any case and poker should never be played on that fear.

Hope that helps
