Hello,
I'm a regluar NLH micro mtt player, but I've been playing PLO cash games for the past year, maybe a year and a half when I don't have enough time to grind tournaments.
I've got a question for any PLO regular. How do you play AAxx post flop? I feel like this is still something that I don't know properly. I tend to fold a lot when people get aggressive and I'm left with an overpair and pretty much no draws/backdoors, which hurts a lot on the long-run (given that I always re-pot pre). Also, I always go for stacks when I flop overpair+nut flush draw or if the board's paired up on lower cards (J33 for example).
I feel like this is probably where most players lose money. More than a quarter of my winnings on good sessions come from my opponents having AAxx and instantly pot-ing no matter the flop. Recipe for getting stacked.
I usually play 4 zoom tables at 0.02/0.05 (5$ buy in) at a time. Any advice from somebody with a bit of experience would be helpful.
