Hi,
Would really appreciate if you could tell me what you think my stats are like, I play 9 seat 0.02/0.05 pokerstars. If you think I should improve anything like 3bets, preflop etc, and what player category I fall into eg rock tag etc. Thankyou very much

VPIP - 12.5
PFR - 5.33
3BET - 1.94
WTSD% - 25%
W$SD% - 45.6%
AGG - 6.54
AGG% - 53.6

I've deleted your duplicate posts asking this same thing in multiple forums. Do not crosspost the same thing to multiple forums, continuing to do so will result in an infraction or ban.

As to your stats, you don't say what the sample size is which is important for some stats, but on the surface I'd say you're playing a bit tight (which isn't terrible at FR) and far too passive preflop. Your PFR should be close to your VPIP, so you're limping way too much. Assuming a relevant sample size, your 3bet is also quite low, but then again I never played as low as 5NL so not sure how much 3betting is normal there. W$SD% is a bit low, should probably be closer to 55%, so you're likely showing down too light.

So preflop you're on the passive nitty/rock side, while post-flop I'm guessing you barrel a lot and are unable to fold when you're beat. You should increase your preflop aggression and probably tone it down a bit post-flop with your marginal made hands on tricky board textures.

fair enough to taking down the other posts, im new to this so im not sure how it works. Those stats are over 16,000 hands, you have described my game pretty accurately, I have tried to stop limping as much by being more selective with hands during say the last 1500 hands. I have started continuation betting more with looking for checks of opponents on the turn etc and this is helping. Have you any other tips that could help my game that come to mind? Thanks Once again

Maybe subscribing to a training site, or watching some free videos on Youtube. I started out with "Crushing the Microstakes"and Leakbuster, and then a couple of training sites.

You are playing really tight. It may work for you at 5NL, but as you get to higher stakes, your play will be too predictable. Adding a few more hands to your opening range wouldn't hurt, but start slowly adding only a few and aim to something like VPIP 14 PFR 12 or so. Don't limp and play your strong range aggresively. Also as a general rule, always 3bet AA,KK,QQ and AK, which will bring your 3bet up a bit.
Videos are often advocating a loose style and you won't be ready for such a style yet and will most probably loose money. I recommend Harrington's books for statring out. Although they are quite old, they still offer good advice for tight play.

Playing that tight these days won't work at any level..

Read books... Gain more experience.... And be Patient.

A pertinent point, I myself noticed a change by even fish compared to 2 years ago. Used to be I can just open shove aces at 2nl and still get calls, can't remember that happening anymore when I go 'holidaying' at 2nl lately

Still, I'd venture converting to a slightly laggers style at 2nl is inadvisable seeing as how reading fish is impossible to read cause of their lolwide calling range.
It's just that being tagnit is less profitable these days, but damn we'll it still is

thanks for all the great reply's, I have found adding more hands to my range has worked to some extent, also like I said continuation betting to is working in the sense of trying to put opponents on hands from their position then gaining info via bets after the flop. I really want to learn a lot about hand ranges as I think this is a key aspect of online poker, I know playing experience will count for a lot, but is there any books out there that would be good to study especially for the hand range topic. Many thanks
