Just curious how you would play in the given scenarios:

Say you are the short stack with $800 in chips left with the blinds $300-$600. 3 more hands before you are the big blind. No callers so $900 in the pot. What type of hand would play?

or

1 caller putting $1500 in the pot? caller seems LAG

or

2 callers putting $2100 in the pot? One caller TAG, no read on the other caller

or

a big raise / all-in putting $2500+ in the pot? No reads.

I find myself very undeceive in these situations. I don’t know if I should rely solely on odds when I’m soon to be blinded out.

If you let yourself get to less than 5 BB's, then your only move is to put it all-in in most situations with almost any two cards pre-flop. Your stack is not large enough to push anyone off the pot and if you are raised when you limp in then you are committed to the pot.

Don`t get so low, if you can possibly help it.

As soon as you get to 5 BBs or less, go all-in the first time you pull any Ace, any King, or any Pair.

If you let it get much lower than that, you`re still going to be in trouble even if you win, and you`re going to have to keep going all-in with weak hands until you get knocked out.

Like Egon said, if you can help it, you desperately need to not let it get that low. If you got that way because you lost a lot of chips in a big hand, that's alright, but if you get that shortstacked from waiting for hands, you're making a mistake. If you can at all help it you want to push when you've got enough chips to keep marginal and raggedy hands from calling you.
