How many of you play in the sng? I have been playing in the sng. , small amount dollars to try and build my bankroll back up, I do come in , in the top 3 95% of the time. Should I go on to higher amount sng. and just move up 1 dollar at a time ? Am I doing the right thing ?

wow if you place 95% of the time in the top 3 thats one heck of a percentage... as to whether you should be moving up i guess play according to your bankroll.. i have no idea what your bankroll is and what you're currently playing.. but dont risk too much.. you dont want to suddenly make a huge jump and lose all that money that you spent long hours making... but if you just move up 1 level at a time yea id say thats probably a good and smart strategy... good luck and keep up that 95% money rate...

95% is insane. Make sure you are not just on a streak :(

If you honestly believe you are playing great poker then there is no reason to not go up a level... play a few games at a higher level and if you do well then keep it up or else drop back down and try multi tabling.

You can try moving up, if you loose a bit move back down.....but I have to ask ya, if you are ITM 95% of the time, why would you want to move?
If it aint broke don't try to fix it

9.5 ITM? That is pure BS. Have to build yr bankroll 'back up' at that rate? More of the same. Confused....

i.e. I think ziggy is confused, and the number z presented cannot be right.... but carry on...

I may be confused on the numbers, but I only play in the $1.00 sit-n-gos , am I doing something wrong not to build it up?

I wouldn't move either if I was finishing 95% in the money. You may want to trying moving up to a smaller amount for a game or two as a reward for your success so far, but I believe you should not be using more than 5% of your bankroll for each SNG session.

umm, yea, i just looked it up on opr its not 95% (not the point) imo you should try the 2$ stt the rake on the 1$ stt is 25% of your buyin in time will eat your profit at the 2$ stt its the same rake but its only 12.5% of the buyin and will show more profit if you keep your stats or maybe improve i little. i hope this helps what you are looking for good luck at the tables :)

Yea i used to be on those 95%, till i started losing. I was on a good streak, getting good cards, then suddently i started losing, sometimes i would have a bad beat, other times i would make a poor play. My point is, i was so used to finish in the money, that when i started to finish out, i started to tilt and lose allot of money really fast, so take it easy and don't let those winnings push to much of your ego as it did to mine

I agree - I have started recently to play SNG at pokerstars (only 4 T so far - Just starting) - I looks just different from FullTilt (Slower? Perhaps? Not sure...) and I was ITM 2 out of 4 times - Patience and aggressiveness at the right time was the key.
The only problem I currently have with PokerStars is the horrible GUI... cant the biggest site do better? Even the sorting of chips per player does not work most of the time, and the view of the table is annoying as hell.
