Playing AK late position after a raise
$200NL live cash full ring, $1-$2
Mid position raiser with $210 makes it $15 to go
Read on my opponent is again less than great, he’s new at the table, younger Asian guy 20s, familiarity with couple of the casino regs, he looks steely and confident. (Zap!)
I’m on the button with $615 and AKo. I flat call the $15.
Flop is 3h 7d Js rainbow. He bets $15, I call.
Turn is 6c. He bets $35. I fold.
I think there could be passive-based mistakes pre and on the flop. Maybe, the turn too, although I think giving up there was one of the better things about the hand, given how it was played to there. Other than that previous JJ whether to fold or 4-bet pre-flop thread, this was the other hand that bothered me from Sunday.
An easy one, hard one, how would you play this differently?
