I have been wondering how to play spots where a (single) opponent has range advantage and we are out of position/in position. For example, say we open from the high-jack and the villian calls from the lo-Jack or CO. Flop is 8c7h6c.
Hero is a tag. Effective stacks 100bb in a $1- $2 casino full-ring game against a straight forward player in his earl 30's who over values 99-JJ. His range: 22-JJ, AK-A2, KQ-K7, QJ-Q7, 96-J8, 43o-JTo, 53o-J9o.
Are we supposed to be checking most of our range on dynamic boards when we don't have a range advantage ip/oop. Given this, how should we be playing our overpairs (AA-QQ).
