The reason I ask is because in a ring game, you can't necessarily bet the same way you would in a tourney for the very fact that you're playing with cash rather than tourney chips. Mindset for most players changes from one to another. In a tourney, if you flop 2 pair with 2 suits on the flop, you'd probably bet full pot each street. If someone is going to chase a draw, they will have to be dumb and pay for it. In a ring game, same situation, I'd probably value bet the flop, then bet about 3/4 pot on the turn. Cash games you want to win bigger pots. Tourney's, size doesn't always matter, you just want to win more pots, avoid losing big ones. Two pair is a big hand that you could lose a lot on to a suckout on a draw or someone making a better two pair which is why I would seldom slow play. Probably the only slow play situation would be is if you are first to act and are being followed by an aggressive and/or reckless player. Hope this helps

well u want to extract as much value as you can when you hit to pair-the only thing to worry about is what the dynamics of the board are-if you hit 2 pair on a flop of A83 but the the board pairs on the turn then youre hand loses alot of value-i think all in all you want to take the pot down on the flop-that way you dont run into any difficult spots on the turn and river-the_urge27
