Was playing 40$ nl buy in 1-2 blinds and won up to 600$

Got caught in a couple hands where guys were cracking my top pair top kicker with straight draws that came on the river... I had about 350$ left and went to play 100$ buy in.

Had KK and there was a reraise all in preflop and lost 100$ to AA
had QQ and same situation within 30 minutes.

I was playing for about 15 hours and was totally out of my mind....

I know exactly what you mean. It's tough to stay away when you seem to get on a roll. I went to a strategy of bankroll management, and that kept me from over committing my bankroll and getting busted when the dice were loaded. I now prefer to play steady rather than go for the big kill

I know I was on my first buy in 40$ and won all the way up to 660$, 330 bb when everyone starst with 20bb, I was reading everyone really well and playing my best poker, taking down hands with top pair and cbetting the flop and taking it down.

I thought if you play longer you learn the opponents moves and you are easy to win him. I like to play one on one and I could play for hours without losing.

I tend to get more aggressive as I get too tired and it ends up being my undoing.

I can relate. I usually become too loose, and begin to make critical misakes which tilt me.

your BRM is wack. If you were lucky enough to get that bigger stack infront of you you were not smart enough to bank some of it.

You have to bring optimal strategy to the game.

Be fresh, have a clear mind, no emotional baggage that day, and also understand what a decent win is for the game you are playing. Ultimately, your knowledge of yourself is going to be your strongest asset. SO get to figure out what makes you tick, and what gets you tilted, what gives u a poker high or low. Self analysis will be your biggest friend

To be up $600 is a nice win. Bank it, and enjoy the positive energy of leaving on a high. You lose those last couple of hands and you leave feeling like a loser.

Always bet as much as you would be willing to lose to a bad beat and as much as you believe someone with an actual worse hand would genuinely call (as oppose to fold to).

This will probably gain you the $600 slower than you got it but would absolutely reduce your rate of losing it to $350.

As for how you lost the $350, that's absolutely your fault for moving up buy-in level(s).
