I own Holdem Manager 2 and barely use it. I tired analysing my hands to see what I did wrong, but for some reason I cannot figure out my leaks. I play mirco limits/ averaging 30 an hour, but for some reason, the only way I make money is by bluffing. Does anyone have a systematic way on reviewing their hands?

I look at the hands I've lost or turning points in a specific game

Like for example I played a hand 3 handed yesterday on the bubble I have King 9 suited 2 callers I'm OOP looking back I check First on a board of K-8-3

anyway to cut it short I lost to 92 suited this is a $7 mtt aswel near the money on PS so very strange,

I figure had I bet the flop OOP he would of folded instead and If I had been re-raised by player 3 I can either give up the hand since im either dominated or losing to drawing hands to often

as you might already know... (you might not)
Its important to note that your profits and losses will go in order of position, so you will have -EV in the BB and SB and +EV at its highest in late position,
so thats something to think about if you dont apply the correct positional range it will effectively create additional leaks and force more mistakes

Yeah, what he said. Over 250k hands you average $30/hour playing the micros?

Your leak is probably bluffing to much.

If you want input on your hands, then post them in the forum.

Yeah unlikely you are averaging 30 an hour. 500 hands per hour at 10 NL would mean that you are winning 60 big blinds per 100 hands you play which is not possible.

I found the leakbuster program to be fairly helpful. Also, selecting a coach helped me in the past but I was very fortunate to have very good people around me. You must do a lot of homework these days as many people offering coaching are not really great at poker and do not deserve what they are asking per hour.

Hate to plug my own software, but honestly Leak Buster is a good option. It's going to at least point out where your biggest leaks are coming from, and it will find stuff that will take coaches lots of hours to pinpoint (if at all). Not saying it's a replacement for coaching, just that it does a really good job.

Plus Leak Buster 4.0 is coming out pretty soon and it's going to have all new micro and level analysis. Secondary level deep analysis and a ton of stuff other new features. Pricing is also increasing when 4.0 comes out, so you can always try now and see if it's something you think benefits you.

The other option is post stats in forums will people will do some free analysis, and always post hands. Get some coaching from reputable coaches. There are some good approaches to take. I kill the stakes I play though, and I still use Leak Buster, simply because it honestly finds stuff I didn't really completely consider in my last 100k hands. Even simple stuff like I'm opening too many small suited aces from EP is good to be aware of (which it will only point out if I'm playing these poorly post flop).

GL!

You played 250K hands and are making 30/hour at the micros hey....

o wait

No you haven't and no you aren't.... lol

I noticed this, too, but isn't it possible he was saying he averages 30 hands per hour (as opposed to $30/hr)? One seems completely reasonable while the other, well, not so much ...

Regardless, it does seem like someone that has played 250K hands (either live or online) would know which of these two hands should win ...

FR tables average 60+ hands/hour and they are the slowest, besides when people talk about x/hour "x" is either bb or $.

Until you learn what hand beats what, I advise that you stick to one table.

Guys it was probably 30 cents. Or 30bb. Or 30 bluffs.

Did you count the times when your bluffs fail? Bluffing is suicide at micros 99 pct of the time.
