Let's say you're playing in a tourney and you and another player are in the pot (no raises) and the flop come 10-5-10 and you hold J-5 and are first to bet or check . I'm interested in how folks would play this hand and how they would handle a re-raise of an initial minimum bet.:)

I would min raise it, they may put you on a ten. However if they re-raise I would fold.

I probably would have raised preflop to try and get his big blind free. Here I would bet pot, hoping to take it down there. Chances are very good that you have the best hand here, because the board is paired. I would fire out a pot sized bet on the flop then maybe 4xBB on the turn to try and take down the pot, then if he calls both might want to go easy on the river in case he has you outkicked or has a 10. Otherwise he could raise you big time.

I would min raise it, they may put you on a ten. However if they re-raise I would fold.

They haven't acted yet, you are first to act, so you can't raise and they can't reraise.
