So having tunnelled my micro bankroll I've decided on a way of obtaining a new roll, aside from trying to freeroll whore MTTs (My real strength lies in STTs). I am going to be using FTP points to get a BR going, as it is all I have left on my account.

Here's the plan:
Step 1 -- Play sattys (mostly Daily Dollar sattys) to get the FTP roll to 3k.
Step 2 -- Take two or three shots at the 275 Midnight Madness FTP.. 9 people, first gets 11 bucks.
Step 3A (If I win 11 bucks) -- Accept the Biggest Bonus Ever. Take the T$ to the 30c Daily Dollar Sattys and heeb it up to 20 bucks. Use the 20 bucks to sit at as many PLHE tables as I can to unlock the bonus, while simulatenously unlocking my initial deposit bonus.. This gives me 2.50 intervals as well as 10 dollar intervals and double the bonus to leech.
Step 3B (If I don't win 11 bucks) -- Accept the Biggest Bonus Ever on last possible day (August 16th). Heeb the FTP roll back up to 3k and up to 5k even. Continue to take shots at the 275MM Sattys and even the 90FTP 27man MM Sattys if I'm running poorly. Go back to 3A asap to maximize time available to unlock the BBE.

Please see my sig below for my full updates thus far. I'm hovering around 1.3k-1.4k FTP atm, can't seem to break the 2k mark.

Specific Questions:
-Is 3k FTP enough to start taking shots at the MM Sattys?
-Any other games I can play to win some cash?
-Is it necessary to heeb the 11 dollars to 20 with DD sattys? Or should I jump to unlocking the bonus asap?
-Best way of unlocking the bonus? Playing STTs that I am profitable at but slower unlock, or play ring games which I am medium at but faster unlock?

Sorry for all the info so suddenly, but really excited to get going on this elaborate plan

With 1.3k ftps i'd probably just buy in directly to the Daily Dollar , it only costs 200 pts to enter and its really not that hard to make it ITM so this is definitely the best option. As for the 50 ftp sats theres just wayyy to much luck involved imo and the structure is too fast so you;ll find yourself out of the money the majority of the times, so if your going to blow a heap of pts on these sats why not just buy in directly.

I find the DD sattys quite soft and in multitabling 3-4 at a time I'll usually cash 2/3 or 2/4. Not much else I can be playing to build the roll... Not so sure if I want to buyin directly to the DD though :S I keep finding myself bubbling that tourney or grinding for a long time to get 1 dollar... I think the MM sattys might be a better way to roll-up with 12 bucks for 1st out of 9...

Open to more suggestions though :) Thanks StormChaser.

I'm up to 1.8k now, slowly trying to boost it higher.. I've found the Nightly Forum Gathering which allows a 10 FTP buy-in for amazing value.. gonna play that nightly.

step 1. forget about the bonus concentrate on learning to win at poker.

i'm serious about this. when i first signed on i lost over $100 trying to unlock my last $20 in bonus. And after that I figure i lost over $70 to get a $50 bonus that I still had to unlock. I got this advice here at CC "the bonus of learning to beat this game will be far more rewarding than and $bonus you get now".

as for your BR building plan i'm not totaly sure as i havent played too many of them(the mm sat's). I do have lots of experiance playing the 50FTP sat's to the daily dollar. I think these are very beatable. if your beating these stick with them. And dont unresister for the daily dollar. This tournament gives you the most bang for your buck. it usaually has money added to the prize pool and you cant beat that. you might try a shot here and there for the $11 it can't hurt. And like the idea of the 30 cent satellites. I did these as well to complete an "academy challenge" and had lots of success at these. so id stick with these untill you get a good enough BR for what ever yor game is. eg $40 PLO at the .01/.02 cent tables.

I suggest depositing.
Or you can grind these FTP tournaments and play Daily dollar.

Play the 'Face the Ace' .com sng's if you get low on FTPs. They will give you a solid 100 FTPs per 1st or 2nd place finish. If your able to build your BR off doing the 50 point SnGs, by all means continue on. Otherwise, I'd try just buying directly into the Daily Dollar.

The forum gathering tournies have been quite profitable for me lately; I'd definatly recommend keeping at those tournies. The midnight madness satty doesn't sound like too bad of a deal. I'd say you've got a solid plan. Just stick too it, and you should see a profit in no time.

I don't have any advice for you because I don't normally play these tourneys you are referencing. I will be monitoring your progress because your plan is intriguing. I hope you keep posting.

Unlocking the Biggest Bonus Ever with just $11 is going to be veeeeeery difficult and take a looooong time. Trying to unlock the bonus is a good way to lose money. Lots of people blow their stacks trying to meet the goals.

I suggest, if you get $, to keep playing at a rate you are comfortable with. Don't over exert yourself or you bankroll because that money is going to take forever to unlock.

I have a little over $200 on FTP (I never deposited) and I'm not bothering with the Biggest Bonus Ever because I just don't want to put in the time it'd take to get the first $10.

Now, admittedly I don't know what the payout rate is to points, but assuming that you have to pay $10+ in rake to unlock the first $10 in bonus money. That's a *lot* of micros with only $11 to start with. A whole lot.

Take 50 FTPs and play the 54 person sattys to the 750k sunday game. First place gets 2500 FTPs. These are pretty soft. Unregister and rack up a couple of wins with these. Use these FTP to buy into the bigger tourneys.

All the best of luck to you, and I commend you on not wanting to deposit when you are not able/willing to do so.

For those 'deposit and go' folks, you seem to ignore the fact that there is some pride involved in not throwing money away when it is unnecessary.:D

Wish I could enter the Face the Ace tourneys, I see them as status running or announced but I can never seem to find one registering

part of that isnt a bad idea... i might take that idea because i qualify in sats a lot i would say 6 or 7 out of 10...so if i pay 1$ to get 11TD use the TDS to get in a 1$ turbo....thats like payin 1$ to play 10 tournies

I totally agree with that. I have deposited on an Ongame room, and if I want to unlock the bonus, I clearly need to play day and night during 50 days, and I guess the most probable thing that could happen if I do that is getting cracked :D

I think it's better to built a small bankroll, at your own rythm, and see what happens.
Eventually, when you'll have a really big bankroll, and that you'll be playing higher stakes games, you'll be able to deposit on another room and try to unlock the bonus this time.
