K so here's the deal. I let the other thread die and since I felt it was more geared toward a stake anyways, I've decided to make a new one. I need somewhere to post hands here and there without hijacking someone else's cash thread lol.

So I'm primarily playing on party poker NJ at the moment and it's been going very well. I started with a few hundred and had it over 1k in 2 months. Then my car took a nosedive (not literally) and I needed new struts and while at it, new tires. Also wsop.com is running 27.50 satties to the WSOP ME so I also used 300 to put on there. So I left myself with $200 on Party and within the past 3 days I have it up to $350.

Goals this month:

1. brm (currently shotting at 18 BIs for each level)
2. profit
3. read through Applications of NLHE when it gets here (tracking says Tuesday)
4. post some hands
5. do a few sweats

So to kick it off, here's today at 10nl along with hands and i'm too lazy to look for a hot chick, so just use your imagination.

BB is a spaz and has tripled air on several occasions. He does this with any pair+ but still seems close.

Villain has proven himself to be decent so far. Only beat by 3 combos. So question is with his entire range here, are we good often enough? There are some draws that are doing super well here vs us too.

Here we have a guy who looks to not be completely retarded, yet he shows up with retarded hands often enough lol. Postflop he is the most aggro person in the field. He triples tons of boards with pot sized bets. So what's the plan? Should we be jamming the turn? As played, should we ever consider folding river? Also note that he will flat JJ+, not always, but he has.

Realized the fish from hand #2 went and shot 50nl (I randomly open higher limit tables for this exact reason since i've seen it happen enough when I was playing this 25/50 before w/d), so even though I only had 5 BIs at the time, I couldn't help but follow. I did well to stay out of everyone else's way even though they're mostly bad. But I felt it was def +EV to sit with him for a bit. Only sat for a few hands though.

River jam seems a little questionable to me. He has a ton of Qx, so should we go for a smaller bet?

In!

#1: It is pretty close. He may be capable of tripling with air, but is he raising with air? His button range is obviously pretty wide. Probably a good shove.

#2: He looks super loose passive. So what is he betting every street with? If you've seen him do it before with worse than top pair, then you're good.

#3: Nice.

#4: His range probably looks like QQ/44/QJ/10d9d, but that's if he's even capable of flatting with QQ pre. Looks good.

#5: I don't see the point in jamming on that board. Waaay too much that can beat you, even if villain is aggro.

#6: LOL. I think I call? Does he overbet like that often?

#7: You could probably go smaller just to make sure he calls. He probably isn't ever folding any TP for like 2/3 the pot.

66 is yuck he has so much 5x and i dunno if he spazzes with worse, more inclined to call his click back and eval rivers.

2/ him being a huge passive fish makes me more worried about his range for min/r tripling here. don't see a reason not to 3bet flop tho if you think he is going to stack wide enough.

3/ don't love the 2nd barrel but otherwise fine

4/ he has all combos of 44, and most of QQ, and some monster draws, hard to fold what is clearly the tippy top of our range.

5/ i don't have solid reads but i want to fold to the turn 3bet, line just shouldn't be a bluff and there are no good rivers for us.

6/ already talked about, dislike pre, flop plays itself.

7/ 3bet flop to like 23bb, as played i either c/j turn or c/c and let them fire river, don't really see the argument in c/c lead jam line.

post that other hand we talked about aswell
