Yeah, I would seriously get away from short-stacking if at all possible. I don't pretend to know your situation and why you're buying in short, but if possible, try dropping down and buying in full. I tried short-stacking briefly, just to see what all the fuss was about short-stackers. As you may have noticed, they aren't especially popular on here. While that didn't necessarily bother me, it did bother me that my win rate went way down. While I believe it is possible to be successful as a short-stacker, the problem you described will keep happening. You just can't win enough on your premium hands to make-up for the times you'll get sucked-out on or end up 2nd best if you always buy-in as a short-stack.
