I don't go there to often, but love the action here. I imagine like all suited connectors lose all value because stacks are not deep enough where as big cards gain more value, but would like your opinions. At 12 you can buy in for what ever you want, but before that it is 1-200 maximum I believe that is pretty key to bring in the casual/recreational players.

That seems a bit overly simplistic and to boring for my liking lol.

In higher stakes people will respect a shove from a shortstack, so you might get some bluffs done from time to time, but in 2NL you will get callers holding King high, so wait for any big ace or a pocket pair above 99 and fire away.

I think you are saying 2-5nl meaning $500 is 100bb's?

If that is the case then you need to play a supremely tight strategy. Its full ring, so you can afford to fold a lot.

Your UTG range should be something like JJ+, AK. MP is like TT+, AJs+, AQo+. CO is like.... maybe 99+, KTs+, KQo+, BTN you can get nice and loos with like 88+, QTs+, KJo+, and around those same ranges in the blinds.

Play a tight game and be hyper aggressive. It cannot be true that the players are both recreational and respect bets from short stacks. If they are recreational and they see a bet they will want to see what you have and you can make some money.

Once you have gotten to around 85bb's you need to start getting to your normal 100bb strategy. Play a nice tight game still, super tight UTG but you can start to play some suited connectors in the BTN and CO.

And don't complain about boring or simplistic. Short stack play IS BORING AND SIMPLISTIC if you are doing it right. If you play interesting and dynamic with a short stack then you can just sit at the table and dispense your chips to the crowd with a smile.

Lol no....people get confused on this I noticed...5nl means a $5 buyin would give you 100bb...same with 2nl only that would give you 100bb for $2...a. $500 buyin for 100bb would be 500nl ;)

That's why I was clarifying, because I think he is saying 500nl and said 2-5nl. Since there is no 2-5nl game. A lot of live players call the game 2/5 rather than 500nl. They refer to the blinds size rather than the buy-in size.

Thanks for your input, I was trying to get the OP to help define what it was he was talking about so our input would be more meaningful, not for my own edification.
