Reads, all players fairly loose and non aggro.

My thoughts at each step

Pre. Lots of limpers and want to narrow the field and raising for pure value.

Flop. So, we flop the world at 8nl, if they have made a full house then sucks to be me, so playing the hand as the nuts. I dont like blasting the pot or even half pot as not many worse hands are calling imo, excluding some high flush draws perhaps. Nor do I want to risk it being checked around so I need to bet to get some value.

Turn. Everybody has called so its a bet for pure value, obv, to possibly get looked up by worse kings, Qx and flush draws.

Not posting this hand as I was dissapointed not to get stacks in, because that will not happen everytime. Just looking for opinions.

I like a bigger flop bet. Here is why.
- Still get callers at like 2.00 - 2.40 bet size
- Gain equity by reducing the number of callers
- Get more money in the pot when you are likely ahead (only K8 & 88 beat U)
- Eliminate bet size tell - MANY players underbet good hands for fear of folds

Thanks for reply, what hands do you think would continue for 2.00-2.40 though?

People are not calling that raise pre to fold a flush draw, 8x, or kx on this flop. You literally bet ~26% pot on the flop. None of the above hands are folding to a standard 60% pot bet.

Just jam the turn, we have less then a PSB and can still get called by worse pretty often. I think you got a little too fancy with this hand.

Yeah definetly betting at least round 2/3 to 3/4 on flop

1/2 pot on turn and jam river. I guess turn is all about milking our opponents.

Yeah makes sense, whats our line if we bet 2/3 on the flop and the turn is Qh vs 1 player? then same question vs 2 players.

I'm betting at least 2/3 pot on flop if not pot. If someone is drawing to a flush, I want them to pay for that draw knowing even IF they hit on the turn I'm still live with outs if they decide to bet small to "value" bet their made flush. And if they fold, whatever, I want them to pay for the draw. And as GWU says, you reduce the number of callers while likely keeping least one in for their draw.

Definitely a 2/3 - pot size flop bet. You've said they're loose passive and they've called so far. Bet for value

Yeah they either call, or they don't. Might as well try to get value if they have a calling hand.

2/3~3/4 pot on the flop.

I don't think you made any bad decisions here. Your logic was sound, and you played to your gut. You did get 3 callers here, which is the equivalent of a 60% bet and 1 caller. If you think that the other players are weak, calling stations, then depending on how big a gambler you are, your turn bet was too big. You trapped with a small bet on the flop. Why not a small bet on the turn as well? I am guessing you weren't prepared for folds on the turn. That's the gamble.

Bet way bigger on the flop (I'd go for at least 2.40$) and the turn (we have less than a PSB left, just GII).

after a small bet on the flop, it was necessary to either make a small bet on the turn , or play check. but in any case, if no one had not the ladies they would fold .
