Its easier to read the propabillities in holdem and therefore easier to see if the cards are worth to play.. and allso i haven´t seen to many games of omaha, so i feel its a lot more to watch out for.. more possibillities with more cards.

I have to agree that less people know Omaha as well as they know hold em. You will get a lot of people at lower stakes playing any cards and not strong Omaha hands. Some people aren't even aware that they have to use only 2 from their hand.

Always expand your games. Learning a new game will make playing other games better.

In this case there is Stud, Razz - these games are too few people know

Stud and razz games are awesome, but good luck finding action. It also requires a bit more discipline to play as these are usually limit games and you'll have to show up with a winning hand most of the time. If you can find the rare beast that is PL/NL stud/razz, you are in a whole new world.

We used to play a 25c/50cNL dealer's choice game at a private game that I used to frequent. Every game was NL, regardless of the type. Ever play NL "Follow the Queen with Queens also wild" (a stud game with as many as 8 wild cards and the possibility of which card is wild changing)? It's like printing money. Of course, once the stacks grew, those sort of games got too nitty and boring. Would have been better PL or with a cap.

Anyway, few people know stud these days unless they play mixed games. It can be profitable, assuming you can find people willing to play despite not knowing the game.

Omaha is great because lots of people know Hold'em and the game "looks" similar and they believe it plays the same. They manage to know just enough to get into really ugly spots and give their money away.

If it is good to know the rules, if there is intelligence, and if you try to play a few hours in practice, any kind of poker will be easy.

Omaha has more action in it so I enjoy playing that more but hold em is the easier game to play. My overall preference is Omaha hi/lo. There is so much action with people chasing low and high pots.

depends on what you defind as "easy"
holdem is 100% easier to learn + you dont have to be a math wiz to figure out how much the hand change beacouse of a turn card

To each his own. Hold'em is a game I played 6 tables, adequate thought, knowing what was happening, and think, in every action. Table 9 - sitaut this place. Table 4 PL attraction for me - optimally. I have time to watch the game, take notes and write, etc. Furthermore, in this embodiment, only two rounds of the poker trade resulting - 150 clockwise in virtually any table. I honestly do not understand how you can play 20+ tables and not go crazy.

I have little to play Omaha and so I can not say that it is easier. I'm more suited Hold'em. I play better in Hold'em.

Its holdem for me. I think there are still more weaker players in that gane while omaha is getting harder and harder with more better players. I don't play omaha live unless no holdem game is going on (which is never) or when the waitlist is long. I think you can play both games and these games are very similar in terms of how the game is being played. There are flops and less 3 bets/4bets but its not a big change like stud or even limit holdem.
