Am I understanding this right?Unlike Omaha where you can only use 2 of your hole cards to make the highest hand,in Omaha Hi/Lo you can use 2 cards to make the highest hand and another combination of 2 of your hole cards for the low hand???

OHL is a complicated game with a lot of minefields. If you are asking this question and also investing money at the tables, I very much want to know where you play. Playing OHL with little knowledge will be a disaster. I recommend SS2 or Ray Zee to start studying the game.

Yes, as already indicated. When you split a hi or lo, it is also referred to as a 'quartered' pot.
