1k will do at 1/2nl live but don't have any illusions, you may go broke. The play is soft but rake + variance can be a pain. 1k will probably be enough to keep a winning player afloat, but if you want a lower risk of ruin (assuming you can beat the game comfortably), you need to go closer to normal BRM.
Play it like you do online and don't pay much attention to tells
(opponents suck at them and you probably do too).
Expect bigger pre-flop bet sizing and as such, shift your ranges to favour high cards.
Learn to play vs limpers, especially the kind who like to limp-call.
Think closely about your stacking ranges, they should be adjusted to exploit opponents being too willing or too unwilling to stack (most live 1/2 players have no idea how to adjust to the effective stack size, for example).
Don't pick up bad habbits, for example, don't post your blinds early and don't straddle or play blind or any of the other -EV normal live stunts, learn to capitalise on others doing so.
