Oh yeah!! Finally moved up to 5nl only took 3 months
Not sure if this goes here or in brags or where ever but I thought I'd big myself up for finally making it to the big time stakes of 5nl, just done my first 100 hands for a tidy profit of $3.66 which is a ptbb/36.97 I'm sure I can maintain that.
I've read a lot on here that there is no difference between 2nl and 5nl but from this afternoon I would disagree. So far at 5nl they play much tighter and theres hardly any limping. The players I encountered generally had an idea of what they were doing. Don't get me wrong I met some fishy players who were far to aggressive at the wrong times. The regs seem capable as well as even bluffing
draws and repping big hands(how dare they bluff at the micros isn't that illegal).
Anyway I'm sure it will fill up with more recreational players later but I definitely noticed a difference for one thing when searching tables hardly any 5nl were above 20% for players to flop. At 2NL every table is at least 20%. Either way I'm just glad to have moved up fingers crossed I can stay there.
Also I'd like to thank everyone on here who have kindly pointed out my mistakes and given me advice it has genuinely made me a better player.
Right lets quickly crush 5nl for 40 ptbbs and then see whats kicking at 10nl.
good luck everyone!!
