If you are looking for where to calculate preflop odds for example, who is the favorite when a K-10 of spades is up against an A-3 offsuit, etc. I would suggest the odds calculator at cardplayer.com (its on the menu bar at the top of the page there)

I think he means the odds of getting a hand, I know a royal in 1 every 64,000 hands. I have it written down somewhere.

re: Poker & Odds
Odds that bpazjr is going to threadjack you to make a comment that neither answers your question or addresses your post....1:1.
What is it with you, douchebag? Why even bring my name over into this thread, except to start shit. You need a hobby or a girlfriend that doesn't need blowing up. You obviously have way too much free time.

Start with either Hold'em Poker by David Sklansky or Doyle Brunson's Super System. My favorite poker author is Sklansky. If you have some college go with Sklansky his books are not easy to read but I am a big fan! Actually just do a google on Sklansky find a list of his book and you will find one that fits what you are looking for.... GOOD LUCK!
